3/Eminente collection
Moët Hennessy's Cuban Rum Brand Eminente has won top honors in our competition, “As a gift bag, this is absolutely amazing,” one judge commented. “The bottles and textures are amazing, the extra cups and canvas bags are also well made and will be reused. “The Eminente, launched in the UK earlier this year, is a hybrid aguardientes, aged in white oak barrels where whisky used to be. The liquid is then mixed with light Cuban rum and aged, and bottled at 41.3% alcohol.
4/Nikita
The Mexican liqueur NIXTA, created by Casa Lumbre, wowed our judges with its corn-cob-shaped bottle-a reference to the liquid inside. “An absolutely outstanding bottle,” commented one member of the group. “The shape is beautiful, the label is vibrant, but it still has the traditional Mexican style. This shows how to properly package the product to represent the liquid inside. “NYKISTA is made from Kakahuazintel corn, this is an ancestral breed that grew around the volcano of Nevado de Toluca in Mexico. Its name comes from the Nixtamalisation process, a Central American cooking technique used to highlight the taste of corn and used in the production of liqueurs.

The brand and packaging agency led the design of Maison Ferrand's Selection Des Anges bottles, which our judges called“First Class.”. They particularly liked its“Beautiful glasswork” and its“Heavy, expensive feel” corks. Our judges loved the creative pairing of the 12-year-old red breast, a metal birdcage-shaped bottle holder that serves as a bird feeder-or, as one judge put it, a“Bird's restaurant.”. For every bottle sold, the brand donates 3 euros to birdlife International, a charity dedicated to protecting birds and their habitats. “I like the idea of bird feeders,” one of our judges said It's a brilliant move. “The actual bird feeder cage is light and versatile, and you want the consumer to use it for their intended purpose, or to give it to someone at the meeting.”
